Ricardo Defense Awarded $385 Million Contract

The United States Army has awarded Ricardo Defense Inc a contract valued at more than 385 million USD to continue production and delivery of Antilock Brake System/Electronic Stability Control (ABS/ESC) retrofit kits for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).

This contract extends the previous three-year agreement, which was awarded in March 2021, by two years and increases the ceiling from $89 million USD to $474 million USD. The order completion date is set for 15 March 2026.

Funding for the retrofit kits will be determined with each deliver order (DO). The first DO, for 92 million USD, has already been received and deliveries for the units have commenced and will continue through the first half of 2024.
