Maintaining a modern and capable naval fleet requires continuous investment in upkeep and modernization. The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) regularly awards significant contracts to ensure its vessels remain mission-ready. 

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business and MYTILINEOS Energy & Metals have been awarded a £1 billion contract by National Grid Electricity Transmission and SP Transmission, part of SP Energy Networks (SPEN). The contract is for the United Kingdom's first high-capacity east coast subsea link.

Agile Defense, a provider of digital transformation solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other national security customers, has been awarded a single-award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $1.01 billion ceiling from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

BAE Systems recently signed a contract with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the delivery of 48 ARCHER artillery systems, valued at approximately $500 million.
