Through its subsidiary Pratt & Whitney, RTX Corporation has secured a contract valued at $1.3 billion from the U.S. Department of Defense to upgrade the F135 Engine Core. The upgrade will support increased performance and longevity of the F-35 fighter jet, a key aircraft used by various departments in global military operations.

Accenture Federal Services LLC (AFS), based in Arlington, Virginia, has secured a major contract with the U.S. Air Force valued at $1.6 billion. The contract was awarded on a firm-fixed-price, time-and-material task order basis under the General Services Administration (GSA) multiple award schedule and will focus on providing enterprise-scale cloud services and cloud software management.

Halliburton has secured a significant contract for offshore well intervention and plug and abandonment (P&A) services from Petrobras in Brazil. The contract, awarded in early August 2024, involves providing specialized services aimed at safely decommissioning no longer productive wells. 

Milan-based engineering company Saipem is strengthening its position as a key player in Angola’s offshore energy sector, having secured multiple high-value contacts worth a combined $4.5 billion. The bulk of these contracts have been awarded by French multinational energy company TotalEnergies, one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies.  

Saudi Aramco, officially known as the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, is a state-owned oil company of Saudi Arabia and a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise. It recently announced a series of engineering, procurement,  and construction (EPC) contracts worth $7.7 billion to various companies, including Samsung Engineering.

BAE Systems, a British multinational aerospace, defense, and information security company, recently announced that it secured a $79 million contract with the U.S. Marine Corps. Based in London, England, BAE Systems has been the largest British arms manufacturer since 2017. This news is only the latest in a series of big contracts undertaken by the company in recent years.

Magellan Aerospace, a renowned name in the aerospace sector, recently clinched a multi-year contract with Airbus to supply major structural wing components for its single-aisle aircraft. This agreement reflects Magellan's commitment to excellence and innovation in aerospace manufacturing and will further solidify its position as a key player in the industry.

Empower AI, a leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to U.S. government agencies, has been awarded a contract to support the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command’s Fort Huachuca Engineering Directorate.

ECS, a leader in advanced technology, science, and engineering solutions and an ASGN brand, has been awarded a five-year, $1.25 billion contract to provide technical, analytical, and program support services to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
