Knowledge BaseAs a paid Fundz account, you can install the Fundz Chrome Extension to:
- Instantly access the latest company event data
- Receive real-time browser notifications that match your filters (industry, location, size, etc.)
- Stay informed without needing to open the Fundz platform
To Install the Chrome Extension:
- Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for "Fundz Extension"
(or click here to go directly) - Click
Add to Chrome - Click
Add Extensionwhen prompted - Pin the Fundz icon in your Chrome toolbar for easy access
Troubleshooting Notifications
If you upgraded from a free Fundz account and previously installed the extension:
- Log out of your Fundz account
- Log back in
- Remove and reinstall the extension
This ensures your account is synced and notifications will function correctly.
Still not receiving notifications? Try these steps:
1. Check Chrome Site Permissions
- Click the lock icon next to the Fundz URL in your browser
- Ensure Notifications are set to
Allow - If it says Blocked, switch it to
Allowand refresh the page
2. Review Chrome Notification Settings
- Visit:
chrome://settings/content/notifications - Ensure "Sites can ask to send notifications" is ON
- Make sure Fundz is not listed under "Blocked"
3. System Notification Settings
Mac:
Go to System Preferences → Notifications → Chrome → Allow notifications
Windows:
Go to Settings → System → Notifications → Enable Chrome notifications
4. Quick Fixes
- Temporarily disable ad blockers
- Turn off Do Not Disturb mode
- Clear cache/cookies for the Fundz site
- Test in Incognito Mode to rule out conflicts with other extensions
