Vertical Malt produces locally grown, specialty malt and customized malt for craft brewers. It starts at the farm where we grow the vast majority of our own grain for the malting process. This grain is cleaned and moved to the malthouse where we use state-of-the-art equipment that controls all aspects of the malting process to deliver the highest quality and consistency in our products. It's a tight circle and a big part of the "Vertical" part of Vertical Malt.
