Vietnam-based venture capital firm Touchstone Partners and Pavilion Capital, a subsidiary of Singapore state investor Temasek, have co-led a Series A funding round in Vietnamese digital gift platform UrBox, according to an announcement.

The startup will increasingly target Gen Z users, and potentially eye overseas expansion. The company claims it has garnered a 300% year-on-year growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Urbox said it will use the latest funding to fuel growth over the next 18-24 months. Urbox, founded in 2017, received a pre-seed funding from Vietnam-focused accelerator and seed fund VIISA followed by seed funding from VinaCapital Ventures in 2019.
