Steam-on-blockchain game distribution platform Ultra has announced it’s raised $12 million from Luxembourg family office NOIA Capital. The move comes as Ultra has gained a new CEO and COO, with the funding expected to boost new hirings as well as enable the company to make strategic acquisitions as it looks to scale in 2025. This funding round is said to lay the foundation for what’s described as a 'significant raise' that’s set to close later this year. New CEO Gus van Rijckevorsel expressed ambitious plans to transform the gaming industry.
