Sporjo, an online education, training & employability company focused on sports, has raised Rs 14 crore ($2 million) in a Pre Series A round led by private investor Punit Balan, chairman of Punit Balan Group.

Founded in May 2020 by G Srinivvasan, a sports industry veteran who headed the marketing and strategy functions for Reliance Sports group, and worked across football, cricket, IMG Reliance and RF Youth Sports, Sporjo has been valued at Rs 70 crore with the deal.
