Fresh fruits and vegetable supply chain startup Sorted, which is founded by former Milkbasket cofounder Anant Goel, has raised $5 million as a part of its ongoing seed funding round.According to the company’s documents filed with the corporate affairs ministry (MCA), venture capital firms Beenext, White Venture Capital and NB Ventures have participated in Sorted’s ongoing fundraise.Snapdeal cofounders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal have also invested in the round, documents reviewed by ET showed.Sorted has been running pilots over the most part of last year and looks to enable offline mom-and-pop stores to improve their assortments of fresh produce and reduce sourcing time, while providing them with a proprietary technology interface.Goel founded Sorted in February 2022. He is joined by former Milkbasket head of product and engineering Nitin Gupta and head of growth Sahil Madan.Reliance Retail had acquired Milkbasket in 2021.
