The funding comes a year after the startup raised $900,000 from Singapore-based Cocoon Capital and San Francisco-based Hardware Club. The company claims that its platform has now been adopted by over 2,000 MSMEs in the region. Recently, the firm has forayed into online commerce with the launch of QashierEats, a 0% commission online ordering platform that enables F&B businesses to offer delivery and pickup services directly to their customers. The company will also double its headcount in Singapore from 40 to 80. When Qashier started in 2019, it provided retailers and restaurants with a POS solution to help them manage both their operations and payments using one sleek device.
