Headquartered in Douglas, Georgia, Premium Peanut operates the single largest peanut shelling facility in the world, sourcing peanuts from Georgia and South Carolina farmers. The company is currently in the process of building a new specialty shelling facility in Santee, South Carolina, which should be operational in late 2023. Today the company produces raw shelled peanuts for the edible market, peanut seed, and peanut oil.
