Description

Maritime surveillance-focussed spacetech startup PierSight has raised $6 million in seed funding, co-led by Alpha Wave Global and Elevation Capital. The startup, cofounded by former ISRO employee Gaurav Seth and former National Instruments employee Vinit Bansal, plans to provide ocean surveillance through a constellation of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Imaging and AIS (Automatic Identification System) satellites.
