Particle, a news reader startup, has raised $10.9 million in Series A funding. The funding round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and included investment from Axel Springer, a global media company known for brands like Business Insider, Politico, Welt and Bild. In addition, Particle has partnered with news organization Reuters to collaborate on new business models.
