Wollongong-based green hydrogen startup Hysata has raised $172 million in a Series B funding round led by bp Ventures and Templewater. The funding will be used to expand production capacity to reach gigawatt-scale manufacturing of its electrolyser, which promises to transform how green hydrogen is produced and help accelerate the decarbonisation of sectors like steel making, chemical manufacturing, and heavy transport.
