Additional Info
Since launching operations in 2019, the startup has raised over US$22 million for real estate development projects in Singapore, Australia, the UK, and Canada under exemptions from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations. Using blockchain tech, Fraxtor can convert real estate properties into digital tokens that investors can purchase for a fraction of the price, allowing the platform to aggregate funds across hundreds or even thousands of different investors. Before the latest round, the startup had raised US$400,000 in seed capital from its founders, and also received grants from Enterprise Singapore and MAS. Fraxtor will use the latest investment to scale its operations. In July, Fraxtor received an in-principle approval for a capital markets services license from the MAS.
