Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNSL) (the “Company” or “Consolidated”) today announced that it has secured FCC approval and closed on the second stage of the previously disclosed investment transaction with an affiliate of Searchlight Capital Partners, L.P. (“Searchlight”) in an amount of $75 million, as part of the aggregate $425 million investment from affiliates of Searchlight in the Company.
