Mumbai: Chalo, a transport solutions startup, is looking to raise $200 million, or around Rs 1,500 crore, to invest in technology and expand in India and in a few other countries.

The round also saw participation from existing investors WaterBridge Ventures, Raine Venture Partners, Neeraj Arora (former chief business officer, WhatsApp) and Amit Singhal (former SVP, Google), all of whom were early investors in the company, the company said in a press statement. Chalo claims to have 15,000 buses live on its platform and a presence in 31 cities.
