Hyderabad-based microdrama OTT platform Chai Bisket has raised $5 million in a seed round led by InfoEdge Ventures and General Catalyst to launch Chai Shots. The platform delivers fiction content in two-minute episodes, targeting Gen Z and tier II–III audiences. It plans to launch first in Telugu before expanding to other regional languages. Chai Shots aims to release over 100 original shows within six months, competing with various established OTT players.
