Therme Group has appointed a new UK chief executive after receiving unanimous approval for updated designs for a multimillion-pound 'wellbeing resort' in Manchester. The decision coincides with the appointment of Professor David Russell as the first UK-based chief executive of Therme Group UK and demonstrates a shift in Therme's focus from design and planning to delivery. Prof Russell takes up the role after a successful three-year tenure as CEO of a joint venture between food, nutrition and technology consultancy Russell Partnership Collection and Therme Group.
