Texas Municipal Retirement System Appoints Philip Hunter O’brien As Managing Director and Head of Private Equity, and Amol Deshpande As Managing Director and Head of Direct Investments

The Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) has appointed Philip Hunter O’Brien as managing director and head of private equity, and Amol Deshpande as managing director and head of direct investments. Isidora Stankovic will also join TMRS as director of private equity. CIO Yup Kim expressed excitement about partnering with Philip, Amol, and Isidora to strengthen global partner relationships, amplify direct investment capabilities, and take the private markets program to new heights.
