The appointments committee of the union cabinet has cleared the appointment of managing directors and chief executive officers for Punjab National Bank and Indian Bank, naming Ashok Chandra as the MD and CEO of PNB, and Binod Kumar as the MD and CEO of Indian Bank. Both appointments have been made for three-year terms.
