New Delhi: Dr Bijay Kumar Mohanty has taken charge as the Director of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited . He has taken over the charge of the post with effect from October 12. Prior to this, he was serving as Head of Department and Senior General Manager at REC Limited.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment on October 7, 2023 marks a significant addition to IREDA's leadership team

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) was established on 11th March, 1987 as a Public limited Government Company under the Companies Act, 1956 and it promotes, develops and extends financial assistance for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency/Conservation Projects.
