Alibaba Group announced that Eddie Wu, the Group CEO, will take over as the chief executive of the domestic e-commerce arm Taobao and Tmall Group, effective immediately. The previous head, Trudy Dai, will focus on managing non-core assets as part of efforts to improve return on capital.
