Alba Bank announces the appointment of Jonathan Thompson as acting Chief Executive and Dominic Wade as Chief Financial Officer. Rod Ashley is stepping down from his role after six years.

Alba has announced it has been granted a UK banking license, after being Authorised with Restrictions (AWR) by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA). We are not open to trade and are in a ‘mobilisation’ phase whilst we prepare everything required to achieve full regulatory approval to enable us to take deposits and start lending.
