6K Additive has appointed Nicholas Pflugh as Chief Commercial Officer and Jonathan Wolak as Chief Financial Officer as the company aims to strengthen its position as a provider of metals for additive manufacturing. These appointments come after the 6K business raised $102 million in a Series D funding round around 18 months ago. Jonathan Wolak, on the other hand, has excelled as the Financial Director for the Architectural Coatings division of PPG Industries, Inc., a multi-billion dollar business unit within the publicly-traded, $18 billion global manufacturer of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. Over his 16 years at PPG, he held critical roles like the Global Finance Director for the Packaging Coatings business unit and the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, contributing significantly to growth and earnings.
