The Upstate Upstarts Fund, created by Venture Carolina in partnership with VentureSouth, the Appalachian Regional Commission, and other partners, aims to provide capital for early-stage technology companies in the Upstate region featured on the Upstate Upstarts List. The fund seeks to increase the visibility of technology-focused companies in several counties and help these companies attract new investors while offering local people the opportunity to invest in startups raising capital.
