Georgia Tech, Southern Co., and Smart Wires have joined forces in a partnership to test and implement new technologies aimed at upgrading the electric grid. With $2 million in funding from the Department of Energy, the project aims to address the increasing demand for electricity from digital technologies and renewable energy sources.
