Richland supervisors awarded the contract for their 2025 road paving program to Shields Asphalt Paving. The roads scheduled to be paved are Bruton, Fairfield, Franklin, Penn Tree and Yorktown drives; Chowning and Raleigh courts; Carters Grove, Grove, North Pioneer and Sandy Hill roads, as well as Heckert Road south of Bakerstown; and Packsaddle Trail. The total cost of the contract is just over $1.485 million, which also includes some work for the water authority.
