NRGene Canada has partnered with Ile-a-la-Crosse Fish Company to apply BSF larvae growth technology to convert fish processing waste into valuable resources, creating high-quality protein for the pet food and aquaculture industries, and nutrient-rich organic fertilizers. The two companies will optimize BSF strains for fish processing waste and establish a commercial facility in northern Saskatchewan to process large volumes of fish waste annually, supporting a more sustainable and diversified economy.
