ADNOC has awarded the EPC contract for the Ruwais Low-Carbon LNG Project to National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), Technip Energies, and JGC Corporation. The project, located in Al Ruwais Industrial City, will feature two natural gas liquefaction trains with a combined LNG production capacity of 9.6 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa). The facility will use electric-driven motors powered by clean energy, positioning it as one of the world’s lowest-carbon LNG plants.
