The Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC) has launched the 'Faral Sakhi' initiative in partnership with the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) of NITI Aayog to empower women entrepreneurs engaged in traditional snack production. The program will provide comprehensive training and support to help women entrepreneurs scale their ventures sustainably and effectively, aiming to create permanent employment opportunities for women in the city.
