The concretisation project for 212 roads across eight municipal wards in South Mumbai has faced significant delays, despite the BMC awarding the contract to M/s. Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCC Ltd) for approximately Rs. 1,362 crores. The project, aimed at improving road infrastructure in the island city, has encountered challenges related to traffic clearances, limited construction space, and higher contractor rates.
