The Managing Director/CEO of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) hinted at plans to ban textile waste at all landfills across the state. LAWMA aims to partner with Tejuosho Market in Yaba to collect the waste and transfer it to companies involved in textile recycling, as part of efforts to build a more sustainable and equitable fashion industry.
