Former Kohl's CEO Ashley Buchanan was fired for awarding contracts that benefited his romantic partner, Chandra Holt. Holt, a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), was part of the team working on a multi-million dollar contract with Kohl's. Both Buchanan and Holt failed to disclose their relationship to their respective employers, resulting in termination of Holt's contract.
