Ecosia, a German company, and Qwant, a French firm, have announced a partnership to build European Search Perspectives (EUSP), a privacy-first search index based in Paris. This initiative aims to provide Internet users with a European search alternative and establish European digital sovereignty, in response to the recent US election results and the importance of securing access to technology infrastructure.
