Deutsche Bahn has begun sourcing loco pilots from India for its global projects due to a shortage of train drivers in Germany. The company also eyes expansion in the Indian market, successfully running the RRTS service and bagging the rights to operate and maintain the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS for 12 years. Additionally, DB Engineering & Consulting has entered into an agreement with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to explore joint business opportunities.
