In November 2022, Caliche, Orion Infrastructure Capital, and GCM Grosvenor formed a partnership to acquire Golden Triangle Storage, Inc., a natural gas storage facility on Spindletop in Beaumont. The partnership is committing to a major expansion of the facility, doubling the total storage capacity to approximately 28 billion cubic feet, with new caverns expected to be operational by Q2 2026 and Q2 2027.
