Bangor Publishing Company, which owns the Bangor Daily News and a marketing agency, has received more than $2.4 million from state agencies since Gov. Janet Mills took office in 2019. The company's payments were not regularly disclosed by the newspaper arm but are publicly available through the state's vendor payment disclosures and procurement record websites.
