Connecticut lawmakers are considering penalizing Avelo Airlines for its chartered deportation flights conducted for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The lawmakers are seeking to prohibit companies wishing to contract with state agencies from working with federal immigration authorities in light of Avelo's deal with DHS.
