Resonetics To Acquire Saes Medical Nitinol Business

Resonetics announced today that it has signed an agreement to acquire Memry Corporation and SAES Smart Materials, Inc. from SAES Getters S.p.A, Milan, Italy. Both acquired businesses are based in the United States with operations in Bethel, Connecticut, New Hartford, New York, and Menlo Park, California. Resonetics is backed by funds managed by global investment firm Carlyle and leading private equity firm GTCR. The transaction is valued at $900 million.
