Manara Minerals, a joint venture between Ma'aden and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, has successfully acquired a 10% stake in Vale Base Metals Limited for approximately US$2.5 billion. This strategic partnership aims to accelerate value generation from VBM's high-quality asset portfolio and advance the global energy transition by significantly increasing copper and nickel production over the next decade.
