Telenor Pakistan is set to merge with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), pending approval from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). The merger follows a year-long review process and includes a proposed $1 billion investment by e&, the management owner of PTCL. The CCP is currently assessing the merger with specific conditions and has requested further documentation from PTCL.
