Today, Walmart announced the completion of the company’s acquisition of VIZIO, providing Walmart the opportunity to serve its customers in new ways and bring new and differentiated ways for advertisers to connect with customers at scale. VIZIO's SmartCast Operating System and its advertising business are key assets for Walmart's retail media business in the U.S. The transaction was signed for $11.50 per share in cash, equating to a fully diluted equity value of approximately $2.3 billion.
