Planet Fitness, the largest gym chain in the US, submitted last-minute bids to acquire the affordable gym chain Blink, which was in the process of being acquired by UK-based Pure Gym. Blink, with approximately 60 locations, faced bankruptcy challenges and attracted competing bids from both Planet Fitness and Pure Gym.
