Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, Inc., has announced the strategic acquisition of Unicon, a leading provider of the secure endpoint operating system (OS), eLux, and the enterprise management platform, Scout. With this acquisition, Citrix will provide customers with a secure client OS and endpoint management resulting in improved endpoint security, resiliency, and operational costs, while supporting green IT initiatives.
