Description

PQ, a leading global producer of silicates, silicas, and derivative products, announced the agreement to acquire Sibelco's Specialty Silicate Business which will enable PQ to expand its sodium and potassium silicate offerings to the Nordic markets such as mining, construction, and pulp & paper. The completion of the acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected in early 2025.
