Sprout Social has acquired NewsWhip, a Dublin-based news intelligence firm, for $55 million, with potential earnouts of up to $10 million. This acquisition enhances Sprout's AI-powered capabilities and aims to deepen its Listening business. NewsWhip's insights and technology are set to bolster Sprout's commitment to innovation and predictive intelligence in the digital space. CEO Paul Quigley will continue with Sprout Social as general manager of the Listening business.
